The church, which was built by the SS. Sacramento between 1680 and 1682, in addition to the square choir and nave with a barrel vault, has six chapels interned in the wall, three on each side. Preserve, at its core, valuable works of art. Among these it is worth noting, in the second chapel on the left, a beautiful Madonna and Child, glazed earthenware, the Della Robbia school. On the back wall of the same chapel there is also the beautiful polychrome terracotta of the Madonna and Child by Luca della Robbia the Younger. In the first chapel on the right instead deserves special attention a bell dated 1269. And 'one of the oldest bells in Italy. One of the most significant works of this church is located in the right transept of the main altar, and ELA Crucifixion of NiccoloCircignani known as Pomarancio, recently restored. E 'consists of forty-two figures and went down the following text: NicolausCircignanus de Pomarancio Pinx.it and Giannis Petri Meozi love the proud hoc opus fecit 1570. At the top is a storm of figures. The twisted bodies are turning to Christ or to the Virgin. Above all soar the Cross and in the foreground the Christ now dead, but transfigured into a solemn majesty.
